What is purity? A quick google search and the definition on purity is:

As right as those definitions are in their own respects it doesn’t paint the whole picture of what purity looks like in one’s life.
Purity describes who you are and what you do. It applies both to your character and to your conduct, especially when you are alone. To be a pure person I would define as
Purity
Desiring a clean and whole life free from corruption and compromise. Your desire for purity leads you to avoid and resist temptations that would pollute or weaken your character.
What steps should you take to lead a pure life?
- Be close to Jesus: We need to be close to the only human who achieved ultimate purity learning from what he did, seeking his advice.
- Stay spiritually alert: If we don’t remain spiritually alert through active obedience and prayer we’ll be caught off guard by spiritual attacks from the enemy and our own sinful desires
- Pray so that you won’t fall into temptation: Jesus’s means of drawing near to God was prayer. Jesus wanted his disciples to do the same. Matthew 26:41
Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41
Striving for and maintaining purity affects all aspects of your life. A pure heart will show in your thoughts, words, choices, attitudes, relationships, and more.
Purity is what we should be striving for
